Back Trolling on the Skeena

Four of us from McBike headed out to Kitwanga to do some back trolling hoping the Skeena would be a little cleaner than the Bulkley. When we got there the river was still quite high and fairly muddy. No bites in 3 hours of fishing and only saw one fish roll. This was on Thursday July 7th. Since then reports have come in of fish caught on the Skeena, a few on the Bulkley as far up as Telkwa. As of Saturday the Bulkley is still murky and fishing slow. Terrace is fishing very well now.
